Familycare Basel as an organization
We are a non-profit organization which is supported by its members. Membership is open to families and individuals, large and small companies and their employees, institutions under public and private law, as well as other contractual partners. Membership entitles employees of our member companies, beneficiaries of service agreements with municipalities and cantons as well as individual members the opportunity to make use of all the services of our organization.
We anticipate family policy, demographic, social, cultural and societal developments and adapt our range of services continuously and actively to needs. Accordingly, we maintain careful strategy and business plans as well as effective occupancy and financial controlling. In the interests of all members and our employees, we use the funds generated in an economical and sustainable manner. As a non-profit organization, we reinvest the funds generated in our future.

We support families in order to allow working family members to balance their professional obligations and family needs. We see children we look after as independent personalities whom we foster and support individually. We offer them security and comfort, take their needs seriously and attach great importance to their independence and self-efficacy.

The quality of our services has top priority. To this end, we work together with recognized private and governmental institutions, a network with specialist offices and have our work regularly evaluated; this includes periodic surveys of members, parents and employees.
