The children love carnival time - we make crafts, paint masks and sing carnival songs. Carnival allows the children to slip into new roles and by playing with the costumes, self-confidence and imagination are encouraged. The togetherness during the preparations, the anticipation and then the joint parade strengthens social skills and of course it is simply fun!

This year we were especially lucky: Our group leader Silvana Guye was able to organize that the Young Guard of the Rootsheere Clique from Basel came to the courtyard of our daycare center! It was a wonderful and impressive experience for young and old!
