Last week, the Seifiblootere group at our Familycare Gellert daycare center was all about the police. The children are currently very busy with this topic, so a fun and exciting project week was created. Every day, the hand puppet "Herr Polizischt" greeted the children in the morning circle and explained to the children what they would experience that day. There were different activities: Police cars with sirens, police songs, hidden object books, craft activities and much more. The highlight of the week was a visit from the Basel police. Three policemen and policewomen visited us at the daycare center with their motorcycles and patrol cars. The children were allowed to look at the vehicles, explore them and sit on them while the blue light was flashing. As a farewell gift, the children received a small present. It was an exciting day for everyone!
