On Monday, December 6, 2021, the last meeting of the Westfeld Network in 2021 took place in the form of a joint site inspection. The Westfeld Network is the association of future tenants, companies, clubs and associations on the Westfeld site. Under the expert guidance of the responsible project managers and the management of the housing cooperative wohnen&mehr, the tour led from the new building with its numerous commercial and rental spaces, through the inner courtyard and the new building pavilions there, to the existing building of the former Felix Platter Hospital. The conversion work for the future daycare center is currently taking place there. Despite many corona-related challenges, the construction work is progressing in leaps and bounds and Familycare Basel is looking forward to opening the new Familycare Westfeld daycare center with 48 daycare spots on the Westfeld site in January 2023.
