Dear parents

Enclosed we send you the Basel-Land Canton press release concerning the package of measures to ensure childcare under Corona, which reached us yesterday, Wednesday, April 8, 2020.

We will, of course, implement the instructions contained therein for Familycare Basel and in May 2020 we will draw up an individual statement of account for each family, at least for the months of March 2020 and April 2020.

For the month of May 2020, Familycare Basel will not yet issue invoices for parental contributions until further notice. We therefore also recommend suspending payments in the form of standing orders for the month of May 2020. Any parental contributions due for the month of May 2020 will be invoiced at a later date or offset against your credit balance.

Families whose children continue to be looked after in the daycare centers based on the current daycare contract are not affected by the suspension of the standing orders.
