Kita Familycare St. Johann: The attractive daycare center in the noble mansion on the Rhine bank
The Familycare St. Johann daycare center is located in a spacious, listed Art Nouveau villa in the spacious St. Johanns-Park, close to the Rhine banks. At the time, the park was specially designed for families with children and offers a large playground, plenty of open space and bathing facilities in summer. The comfortable rooms, optimally equipped to meet the children’s needs, are divided into various play, activity and rest areas. The Familycare St. Johann daycare center was awarded the title "Burzelbaum-Kita" as part of a project for more exercise and healthy nutrition. The Kita Familyare St. Johann was also a participant in the pilot project "Children’s participation in Basel daycare centers" run by the Department of Education of the canton of Basel-Stadt. Like all Familycare Basel daycare centers, The Familycare St. Johann Kita and its entire staff stand for high quality pedagogical values and look after the children according to recognized educational principles.

«For four years Rayk has been spending a lot of time in "his" daycare villa in St. Johanns-Park. He loves this place very much: The large rooms for playing, the movement cellar ("move-it"), the beautiful garden and park, but above all his friends and caregivers. When he comes home, there is always a lot to tell about exciting experiences and projects - e.g. the Insatiable Caterpillar, World of Colors, Jungle Project - as well as songs, excursions, visits to the theater and role-plays. We really appreciate the family atmosphere and are happy that Rayk can spend his days in such a wonderful environment.»
