Our support services assist and relieve all family members.
Under the term "Support" we summarize our services in the area of balancing family and work, which go beyond the advice and mediation of care forms for children (daycare centers (Kitas), nannies, emergency nannies, holiday camps).
This includes in particular family counseling (advice for relatives), the placement of accompanying persons (care of relatives) and relief services for all family members (including children) who need support. Medical services are excluded from our offer.
Typical support services are for example:
- Advice for relatives on all aspects of prevention, dementia, forms and solutions of care at home and admission to a nursing home
- Placement of accompanying persons both for official/organizational activities (doctor, offices, shopping) and for social activities (walks, reading, board games, etc.)
- Provision of addresses for relief services (household help, dog sitters, gardeners, driving services, etc.)
Thanks to our many years of experience, we can draw on an extensive network of cooperation partners and addresses of qualified, established service providers to ensure professional advice for relatives.
Accompanying persons are recruited from Familycare Basel's own pool of qualified and vetted nannies as well as accompanying persons. For regular assignments, contracts are concluded directly between the accompanying person and the family. Familycare Basel provides support with sample contracts, information on social security and other relevant issues. Depending on age and qualifications, the gross hourly wage for an accompanying person is usually around CHF 35.- per hour. Contracts can be concluded on an hourly basis or with a fixed workload and monthly salary.
For relief services, only addresses verified by Familycare Basel that have stood out due to their impeccable references are provided.
