For the Iisbären group of our Kita Familycare Pierrot everything revolved around means of transport. Every day a different means of transport was themed and a matching activity was carried out.

On Monday morning, with a smile on their faces, the children experienced a ride on the bus and the streetcar. In the afternoon, we delved into the world of transportation books.

The next day started with a healthy snack, where we dressed up the fruits as cars and airplanes. After that we explored the different cars on the walk in the neighborhood.

On Wednesday we went on a discovery tour at the SBB train station. In the afternoon we tackled the way to the SBB station again but this time we also used the train. During the ride, the children saw a large construction site and many other passing trains. With euphoric voices and full of pride they drew our attention to what they had seen.

The next day we started with the bus ride to the EuroAirport Basel. While we watched the planes take off and land, we had a snack. The afternoon was dedicated to creativity. Different means of transportation were folded, painted and hung up.

The last day of the project week was dedicated to ships. The project week was concluded with a walk along the Rhine and watching the passing ships. But through the hung up airplanes and exhibited handicrafts we still wallow in memories of the experiences.
