Over several weeks, a theater play was developed with the entire children's group, which is present on Tuesday afternoon. The children were able to let their imagination run wild. The only requirement they had, was to create a play out of their ideas.

During this time the children were accompanied by the hand puppet André, a theatre employee who had too few actors for his big summer performance. So the three to seven year old children of the Heugumper group were in demand.

At the beginning the children thought about what they needed for a theater. In the child sessions they could bring in their ideas. In a vote lasting several days, a theme was defined. The children agreed on the theme "experiments". Everything was developed independently by the children with the support of Letizia Probst,

The result was great theater stage sets, self-made theater invitations and carefully thought-out disguises and names for their theater roles.

As the crowning finale, the diligently rehearsed play was presented to the remaining children and the team members of the Familycare Oberwil daycare centre.

I would like to thank all Heugumper children for their cooperation and the Heugumper team, which supported me very much during the project.

I would recommend regular projects with children to all pedagogical caregivers. It strengthens the group cohesion and positively enriches the creative work with the children.
